Guided walking freetour through the center of the City of Vigo.
This visit covers the most essential part of the city of Vigo. Starting point is at Plaza Puerta del Sol, limit between the Old Town and the modern city, the place where time ago the access gate through the city’s surrounding wall stood.
From here, the tour will take us to the San Sebastian fortress where we will discover the origins of Vigo and the fantastic view point to Cíes Islands, nearby seaside villages and the bateas. As well as the port where international ships dock and its importance to the city as is O’Berbés, the fishermen’s quarte.
Leaving the San Sebastian fortress and its views, the visit takes us through the narrow streets of the Old Town where you’ll find the Collegiate Church. Finally we will reach Vigo’s beautiful seaside promenade.
