Freetour Christmas lights Vigo

Special night walking tour dedicated to Christmas and the city of Vigo’s famous Christmas lights and decorations.

This tour will be our Christmas delight as we enjoy the amazing Christmas decorations and the more than 10,000 lights bulbs that enhance the city of Vigo during this festive season. A couple of years ago, the city decided to compete with other international cities in celebrating Christmas. Year after year, the amount of decorations, lights and fairground rides increase, and each year is even more spectacular than the last.

This walking tour goes along the most decorated streets with the most impressive decorations such as the giant Christmas tree in Porta do Sol, (where the tour starts), the just as huge decorative tree ball. the enormous lighted present… The visit ends in the epicenter of the festivities: the huge ferris wheel that is more than 50 mas high!

And that is not all… there are more surprises to be unveiled! We will talk about some of the most interesting Christmas details and stories of Galician traditions and Vigo’s history.
